Mamoiada's cannonau

During a nice walk through the vineyards, you will be guided by a wine farmer who will explain the phases of growth and production of the grape, with a particular attention on the features of the Cannonau quality.

Then you will visit a winery, the magical place where grapes turn into wine. With the explanations of a winemaker, you will see the necessary equipment for winemaking and you will visit the cellar, where the wine is stored into huge barrels. The visit ends with a tasting of local wines.

Sardinia's best-known typical bread is the crunchy and tasty pane carasau. In Mamoiada pane carasau is still homemade by our mothers. In a traditional bakery, we will guide you through the making of pane carasau, that is baked in a wood-fired oven.

You will meet a shepherd who will show you his everyday work with the sheeps and how he makes pecorino and others typical cheeses. Before leaving you will taste all the shepherd's product.
